Recovery Housing Initiative–Colorado is the state’s premier nonprofit provider of recovery housing, dedicated to offering safe, supportive places where people can heal and rebuild their lives. Standing shoulder to shoulder with those in recovery means walking with them through every step of the journey—with compassion, dignity, and an unwavering belief that lasting change is possible.
Our Story began as a sober living provider with a simple mission: to create safe, supportive housing for people working to rebuild their lives in recovery. As our impact grew, we became a nonprofit so we could broaden the scope of who we serve and remove more barriers to care and support. That growth also allowed us to expand the people and partners we work with, strengthening our ability to walk alongside more individuals and communities across Colorado.

Our Vision is a Colorado where every person seeking recovery has access to safe, supportive housing and the opportunity to build a stable, healthy, and purpose-driven life. We envision communities where recovery is met with compassion, dignity, and real pathways forward, so no one has to walk the journey alone.
